Matt loved the idea.
He’s always been committed to running Mast Contracting according to rock-solid core values. Now, he had a simple frame of reference for sharing his vision with everyone working for him.
However, Matt didn’t think the terms Gottlieb used to underpin the acronym were a great fit for the bath remodeling business. So, he modified them and developed his own version of the original concept.
At Mast, the term ETHER now describes workplace behavior that’s Ethical, Trainable, Honest, Energetic, and Reliable.

ETHER isn’t just a concept. Instead, it forms part of the criteria for assessing every employee.
The process starts during the employee interview. Matt begins by ensuring that each potential candidate has the skills required to do great work on your Ocean City Shoreline project.
